1 About Our Services
The Orange Media offers public relations, media relations, digital PR, editorial outreach, wire distribution, and related communications services. The specific scope of your services, including deliverables, publication count, and timelines, will be set out in your proposal or invoice, which forms part of our agreement with you.
2 How Wire Distribution & Publication Works
Many of our packages include distribution of your story through a press wire. Once your story is submitted, individual publications decide independently whether, when, and how to pick it up; this is standard across the PR industry and is outside our control. We do not own or operate the publications in our network, and cannot dictate their editorial decisions.
Delivery commitments: Where a specific delivery commitment is stated in your proposal or invoice, that's what we work to deliver — see our Refund Policy for how that commitment is honoured.
3 Your Responsibilities
When working with us, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, truthful, and lawful information, images, and claims about your business for use in your content;
- Not request content that is defamatory, false, or misleading about competitors or third parties;
- Obtain any necessary rights or permissions for images, logos, or quotes you supply to us;
- Respond to requests for approvals, inputs, or information within agreed timelines, since delays on your end can affect delivery timelines.
We reserve the right to decline, edit, or withdraw content that appears unlawful, defamatory, or in breach of a publication's own editorial guidelines.
4 Payments
Full payment (or the agreed advance) is due as specified in your proposal or invoice before work begins, unless otherwise agreed in writing. All prices are inclusive/exclusive of applicable GST as stated at checkout or on your invoice.
5 Intellectual Property
Once your campaign is delivered and paid for, you're free to use the published article(s) for your own marketing and promotional purposes — sharing links, embedding on your website, and similar uses. Copyright in content as hosted on each publisher's own platform remains subject to that publisher's terms. Any images we create for your campaign are licensed for use in connection with that campaign only, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
All content, materials, logos, and other intellectual property on our own website belong to The Orange Media or our licensors, and may not be reproduced or distributed without our prior written permission.
6 No Guarantee of Business Outcomes
We do not guarantee specific SEO ranking improvements, lead generation, sales, or investor interest as a result of our services. Any statements we make about visibility or exposure are general in nature and describe our network and process, not a guaranteed outcome for your specific campaign.
7 Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted under Indian law, our total liability arising from our services is limited to the total fee you paid for the relevant service. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including loss of business, profits, or reputation.
8 Refunds & Cancellations
Refunds and cancellations are governed by our separate Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
9 Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms. The "Last Updated" date above will reflect the most recent version.
10 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Kolkata.
